  We all will be breaking five boards and seeking donations for the board breaking.  Our goal is to raise $5,000.  Two thousand will go to our Black Belt in Need and three thousand will go towards the Alabama Project.

  For the fourth year in a row, the members of The Ultimate Black Belt Test (UBBT) and The 100, along with a lot of students and friends will be raising money for, and then building, a house for a family in need in Greensboro, AL.

• 2008 Women in Info Technology Conference "Take the Leap" - University of Arkansas
  February 29
  The Information Technology Research Institute, a research unit in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, is sponsoring a day-long conference for women in technology. Master Edwards will be holding a FAST Defense workshop focused on women's self-defense.
• North Region Tournament - Russellville, AR
  February 16
  Our region is holding the first UTA tournament of the year.  Why is this an important tournament?  Because we are needing, as always, to show that we are together.  That no matter what, we come together to better Taekwondo, to better our students, to better ourselves.  Support Russellville with pride, support this regional event with the upmost of enthusiasm.  I look forward to seeing you all there. 
• FAST Defense Seminar
  February 8&9
  The Fear Adrenaline Stress Training Defense class will take place Friday night 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoon 2:30-6:30 p.m.  Friday night will be the FAST Basics and Saturday afternoon will be FAST ground and weapons defense.
