November at Impact Martial Arts
November is going to be a great month. We are excited to support 52 of our black belts moving forward in rank at our AMA national testing, we are celebrating Impact Martial Arts of Fayetteville's 20th year in business and I am testing for my 7th degree black belt. There is more goodness happening this month, but it is going to be a surprise. Read on!!! |

AMA Winter Nationals
Testing & Tournament
November 14 & 15
Winter Nationals is quickly approaching. The tournament "kicks" off with the National Testing on Friday November 14 at 6:30. I am testing for "Master" level black belt. This lifetime achievement will be shared with 52 of my black belts testing, and many former black belt students coming in to watch. I expect to have over 800 people watching this event! It will be an honor to share that moment with all of you! Please come and be a part of it!
All the testing and tournament information is on our AMA Website. All tournament fees will be paid at the door & all testing fees should already have been paid at the school. If you have not paid, please see Ms. Davis.
The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. with our line-up, introductions and any belt testing rank receiving. I would encourage all of our Little Dragons and Taekwondo students to compete. We already have over thirty students on the list for the competition, and I expect over 60 will compete! Get your name on the list and compete at this tournament. You will learn a great deal and your skills will improve from your efforts getting ready!
I will need a small army of volunteers to help out at the tournament. Volunteers are needed to help with check-in & greeting, both Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are also needed in the rings as judges and timekeepers. Please see Ms. Davis if you are able to participate. Together we can make this a a great experience for everyone!
Christmas Orders
Christmas orders need to be turned in pretty soon. It is my understanding that many wholesale companies this year are not keeping large quantities of product in their warehouses. To guarantee that you get what you want under the tree this year, please order soon. We have catalogs at the school & you are welcome to take them home with you. Click Here to go to our martial arts supply store and look at what they have to offer. Please order from us, as we can save you money on your order. You will save on shipping and have a place to return anything that does not fit or is not exactly what you want.
Thanksgiving Holiday
The school will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Wednesday, November 26 and we will reopen on Monday, December 1.
School Testing
The next school belt testing is scheduled for Monday, December 8. Keep an eye on our new web site and on the bulletin board in the lobby for specific times for testing.

This new site now contains ALL Taekwondo forms and Little Dragon curriculum on video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have never been to the site, you will have to create a user name and password and then be approved by the administrator, ME, to gain access. This way I can keep the ninja spies out of our TOP SECRET site! Ha Ha!!!
Now you have the capability to see all our curriculum on video in the comfort of your jammies at home! This site is ever-evolving & information is being added frequently, so check back often. There are instructional videos which show patterns in slow motion, with an explanation of each move. The form is also performed in full speed, so you can see how the form is supposed to look!
As soon as we get up to speed with all the coolness on the new site, we will be journaling on the site! I am soooo excited and looking forward to your feedback.
